Welcome to Core Connections Counseling!
We offer comprehensive counseling support for adolescents, young adults, parents and families, and individual adults. We specialize in treatment of depression, anxiety, drug and alcohol addiction, technology/internet/video gaming addiction, and issues stemming from trauma. We utilize mindfulness as a means of building awareness, coping skills, enhanced satisfaction in relationship with self and others, and building the capacity to make decisions from a clear and grounded internal state.
We have a combined 26 years of working in many different settings with adolescents and young adults. We feel excited about every opportunity to connect with young people and help clear away the obstacles that stand in their way and help them to step into a more authentic, self aware, self assured, grounded version of themselves!
As a living, breathing couple in real life, we bring over 16 years experience of navigating individual growth and pursuits, combined with nurturing communication, compassion, and love of being in relationship with each other. Now as parents to two young girls, we are tackling the challenges and joys of raising children, nurturing our family, and maintaining a sense of individual self on a day to day basis. We understand the complexities, tensions, and deep work that it takes to stay balanced!
